1. Introduction This Privacy Policy explains how GSESUPPLIERS.COM ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you visit or use our website, GSESUPPLIERS.COM (the "Site"), as a manufacturer, buyer, or general visitor.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in compliance with applicable data protection law, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act 2018 ("UK GDPR"), and, where relevant to users based there, the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("EU GDPR"). By using the Site, you acknowledge that your personal data will be processed as described in this Policy. This Policy should be read alongside our Terms and Conditions.

2. Who We Are GSESUPPLIERS.COM is the data controller responsible for personal data collected through the site. For any privacy-related query, contact us using the details in Section 15.

3. Information We Collect Information you provide directly - account and registration data: name, job title, company name, business address, email address, phone number, and password (stored in encrypted/hashed form); manufacturer listing data: company profile details, product descriptions, specifications, images, categories, and public contact details you choose to display; payment data: billing name, billing address, and payment details submitted when purchasing a subscription (full card numbers are collected and processed directly by our third-party payment processor and are not stored on our own servers); communications: information you provide when contacting our support team, submitting enquiries, or corresponding with us.

Information collected automatically - usage data: pages viewed, search terms, listings viewed, click activity, referral source, device type, browser type, and approximate location (derived from IP address); cookies and similar technologies used for site functionality, analytics, and (where consented) marketing purposes.

Information from third parties - information from our payment processor confirming successful or failed transactions (e.g. transaction status and amount, not full card details), and information you provide when logging in via a third-party service, if we offer that option.

4. How We Use Your Information We use personal data to: create and administer your account and manufacturer listings; process annual subscription payments, renewals, and refunds; display manufacturer listings and contact details to buyers so they can make direct enquiries; operate, maintain, and improve the site, including troubleshooting and security; communicate with you about your account, billing, listing status, and service updates; send marketing communications about GSESUPPLIERS.COM features or industry content, where you have consented or where permitted by law (with an opt-out available at any time); monitor for fraud, misuse, and breaches of our Terms and Conditions; and comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

5. Legal Basis for Processing (UK/EU GDPR) Contract: to provide the directory service, publish listings, and process subscription payments. Legitimate interests: to maintain and secure the site, prevent fraud, and improve our services, where these interests are not overridden by your rights. Consent: for optional marketing communications and non-essential cookies, which you may withdraw at any time. Legal obligation: to retain payment and tax records as required by law.

6. How We Share Your Information Public listing display: Manufacturer company details, product content, and the contact details you choose to publish are displayed publicly on the site so that buyers can contact you directly. Do not include personal data in a listing that you do not want to be publicly visible. Payment processor: billing and payment details are shared with our appointed third-party payment processor solely to process your annual subscription and any renewals or refunds. Service providers: we use trusted third parties for hosting, analytics, email delivery, and customer support, who process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations. Legal and regulatory: where required to comply with a legal obligation, enforce our Terms and Conditions, or protect the rights, property, or safety of GSESUPPLIERS.COM, our users, or others. Business transfers: if GSESUPPLIERS.COM is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to equivalent protections.

We do not sell personal data to third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

7. Cookies We use cookies and similar technologies to enable core site functionality (e.g. keeping you logged in), understand how the site is used through analytics, and, where you consent, support marketing activities. You can manage or withdraw cookie consent at any time through your browser settings or our cookie preference tool, where available. Disabling essential cookies may affect Site functionality.

8. International Data Transfers As GSESUPPLIERS.COM serves manufacturers and buyers globally, personal data may be transferred to, and processed in, countries outside the UK or European Economic Area ("EEA"). Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an applicable adequacy decision.

9. Data Retention We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the site, maintain your account and listings, and comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations (including payment and tax records, typically retained for up to 6 years). Listing and account data is retained for the duration of your subscription and for a reasonable period afterwards, after which it is deleted or anonymised unless a longer retention period is required by law.

10. Your Rights Subject to applicable law, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; rectify inaccurate or incomplete data; erasure ("right to be forgotten") of your data, subject to legal retention requirements; restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing; data portability, to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format; withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, such as the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, or your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 15. We may need to verify your identity before actioning a request.

11. Data Security We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures - including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure hosting - to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Children's Privacy The site is intended for business use by adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will take steps to delete it.

13. Third-Party Links The Site may contain links to manufacturer websites or other third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external sites, and we encourage you to review their own privacy policies.

14. Changes to This Policy We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. Material changes will be notified via email or a notice on the Site, and the "Last updated" date above will be revised accordingly.
